When investigators arrived, Morales stuck to the story, but admitted she and her boyfriend had been arguing when he was injured, police said.
Calcano was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where he died, police said.
Morales was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
