The bad blood is real.
Calvin Harris blasted his ex Taylor Swift in a lengthy Twitter tirade Wednesday after the singer's rep told People she had written the lyrics to his smash hit "This Is What We Came For."
The Scottish DJ confirmed that Swift did indeed pen the words to his catchy track using a pseudonym, adding that she even provides some vocals to the song predominantly sung by Rihanna. But Harris was clearly irate that Swift's camp chose to release these secrets in the aftermath of their contentious breakup.
Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage," Harris wrote.
"I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though," he added. "And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym."
Things only got more personal from there, as Harris urged his former flame to worry about her whirlwind new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston instead of trying to damage his career. Swift and the "Thor" actor sparked their fresh fling in mid-June, just two weeks after reports emerged that she and Harris had broken up.
Swift has yet to comment on the Twitter drama
