Cops on Sunday arrested a teenage boy who attempted to rape a 13-year-old girl in the Bronx, officials said.
Garry Pinkney, 17, of Foxhurst is charged with attempted rape, robbery, burglary and a criminal sex act, police said.
Pinkney was cuffed on his ankles and said nothing as he was walked out early Sunday.
On July 14, Pinkney is accused of following the victim into an elevator of a building on Jennings St. near Intervale Ave. in Foxhurst around 1 p.m., police said, and he coerced the victim into letting him go in her apartment.
Once inside, Pinkney, who was armed with a knife demanded money, police said. When she told him no, he placed items in her book bag and forced her to perform oral sex on him and tried to rape her.
He then took the victim's bag and fled east on Jennings St., police said. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment.
