The Rock is apparently furious at co-star Vin Diesel.
A social media rant by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson against his male “Fast and Furious 8" co-stars was reportedly directed at Diesel, TMZ said on Tuesday.
The beef between the two actors was so bad, it's affected filming. The duo even held a secret meeting in the middle of filming Tuesday in Atlanta, to try and resolve their differences, according to the gossip site.
It's unclear if the duo has made up, but Johnson had reportedly been upset over decisions Diesel, 49, has made as a producer of the franchise's eighth installment.
The peace talk came a day after Johnson praised his female co-stars but publically slammed his fellow actors on Monday, calling them "chicken s--- " and "candy a--es."
“My male co-stars however are a different story,” he wrote on Instagram. “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s--- to do anything about it anyway. Candy a--es.”
In his social media bashing, the actor noted this is the last week he’ll be filming his scenes in the movie, due out in April 2017.
“There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one,” he said.
“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you're right,” the 44-year-old continued.
Several of the male cast members were not pleased with Johnson's outbursts, according to TMZ.
There were apparently several "extreme egos" conflicting on set, and the men were upset they were put on blast, even the ones he was not referring to.
Diesel has yet to comment on the alleged tension. It's also unclear if Johnson was referring to more than one actor.
Ludacris and Tyrese were not the subjects of The Rock's comments, according to a source dishing to the gossip site. However, Johnson's feelings toward Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and Scott Eastwood were still up in the air.
Meanwhile, “Fast 8” isn’t the only upcoming film The Rock has under his belt. He’s also set to star in remakes of “Baywatch” and “Jumanji.”
Most recently, he starred in “Central Intelligence” alongside actor and comedian Kevin Hart.
