The rapper was supposed to show up to court Tuesday morning, but decided not to attend. The hearing with his landlord was supposed to be about his ongoing eviction case, but because Tyga didn't attend the hearing, the judge issued a bench warrant, E! News confirms.
Tyga recently purchased a Mercedes-Maybach for girlfriend Kylie Jenner, which upset Tyga's landlord because the rapper allegedly owes him $480,000, according to TMZ. The cost of the luxury car is more than $200,000. Tyga has been in legal hot water before, having been evicted from his home and getting his car repossessed.
E! News has reached out for comment.
Earlier this year reports claimed Tyga owed his girlfriend $2 million because he had been using her cash flow to fund his personal expenses, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star publicly negated the rumors even after they had broken up. "Lies lies lies," she tweeted at the time. Tyga never publicly addressed the hearsay.
