Trump vows to boot 'illegal immigrants' with 'deportation force'

A defiant Donald Trump stuck to his guns Wednesday and fired off an immigration policy speech that read like a bullet-point list of his most incendiary rhetoric.

The cantankerous candidate vowed to create a deportation force, block federal funding for so-called sanctuary cities that shelter immigrants, and, of course, build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Fresh off his trip to America’s southern neighbor, Trump vowed to deport millions of undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. — along with his Democratic rival.

Trump told applauding supporters in Phoenix that he’ll go after illegal immigrants “who have evaded justice.”

“Just like Hillary Clinton has evaded justice. Maybe they can deport her,” he added, in reference to his planned deportation force targeting criminals.

The GOP presidential nominee, calling current U.S. immigration laws archaic, said a Trump administration would focus on what’s best for American citizens, not those living in the country illegally.

The blustery sermon was a hit with hardcore Trump fans.

“Excellent speech by Donald Trump tonight. Deport criminal aliens, end catch and release, enforce immigration laws & America First,” former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke tweeted.

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani cheered Trump from the side of the stage, sporting a “Make Mexico Great Again Also” baseball hat.

There was some fallout as Trump Hispanic advisory board member Jacob Monty quit late Wednesday, Politico reported.

Clinton, meanwhile, noted the candidate’s failure to “pivot” to a more statesmanlike posture. “There is no other Donald Trump. This is it,” she tweeted.

Trump was on a mission to shake off criticisms that he had softened on the issue that catapulted him to popularity during the primaries.

“Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation,” Trump promised. “There will be no amnesty.”

The mogul also doubled down on his call to turn away refugees from countries such as Syria and Libya and vowed to use “extreme vetting” to ensure immigrants “share our values.”
