Brad Pitt’s child abuse investigation reportedly extended

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services will reportedly expand their investigation into Brad Pitt’s alleged child abuse.

The 52-year-old actor is currently under investigation after allegedly turning violent toward his 15-year-old son Maddox on a recent flight.

Investigators are looking into whether there are more incidents with any of Pitt’s children with Angelina Jolie, according to Us Weekly.

“They are looking at a history and pattern of behavior,” a source told the magazine. “They are looking at not only the original incident but other possible incidents surrounding it and more history.”

The accusations from late September alleged that Pitt got wasted on a private plane and turned violent. DCF opened an investigation after the reports and FBI agents spoke to Pitt and Jolie about the allegations.

A source told the Daily News that the “Moneyball” actor never got physical with any of his six children, but said that an incident did occur.

“While this was not his best moment, it's being inaccurately described,” the source said. “He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse.”

Maddox, meanwhile, reportedly initially refused to visit his father as part of a temporary custody agreement.

Pitt and his eldest son reunited last week with a therapist present.

Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19, citing irreconcilable differences. The “Maleficent” star was granted full physical custody of Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
