Footage shows police shooting man with hands as gun

Newly released body camera footage shows an Oklahoma policeman killing an unarmed man who pointed his fingers in the shape of a gun.

Andrew Henson was shot by an officer in Wagoner last month after being pulled over for a traffic violation and leading police on a 100 mph chase through the rural town.

He fled after the policeman found he had a warrant out for his arrest in Mississippi and walked towards his car to arrest him, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The bureau said that the chase ended after Henson rammed a police car and rolled his vehicle, and that the young man “made a threatening move toward the officer” after leaving his SUV.

"Mr. Henson failed to comply with the commands he was given and he reacted to what he perceived," Wagoner Police Chief Bob Haley said, according to KOTV.

State authorities are still investigating the shooting, and Reynolds remains on leave.
