A 23-year-old woman was stabbed during a house party in Brooklyn Saturday night, police said. She's expected to survive.
The victim, whose name was not released, was in an argument inside a home on Glenmore Ave. near Logan St. in East New York around 9 p.m., police said, when she was stabbed in the chest and back.
She was taken to Brookdale Hospital, and is in stable condition.
A 22-year-old man was taken into custody and charges are pending, police said.
It's not immediately clear if the victim was arguing with the suspect who stabbed her, police said. It is not believed to be a domestic incident.
