Three people injured in shooting near VCU campus


A shooting near the Virginia Commonwealth University campus left three people critically injured early Sunday.

Gunfire erupted arround 2:45 a.m. near the Richmond, Va. campus after a fight broke out at a house party, according to an advisory from the university.

None of the victims were VCU students.

Two men and a woman are being treated for injuries—two of those people were reported to have life-threatening wounds.
The gunman is still on the loose and was described as being a “dark-complected black male” with thin build, close cut har and wearing a red polo shirt. He was also wearing blue jean shorts with holes in them, red and white Nike Air Jordan shoes and a gold chain and gold watch, campus police said.
