An Ohio student at College of Wooster had a missed connection with Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, through an earring.
On Wednesday, Annabelle Hopkins found Trump’s teardrop earring under her chair at the Republican National Convention and reached out to the fashion entrepreneur on Twitter.
Hopkins returned the ivory-colored accessory Thursday, in time for Trump’s big speech introducing her father — the Republican nominee.
The Dean’s List Wooster student managed to track down Trump and later posed in a photograph with her dangling the missing earring, later thanking her Twitter followers for helping her return the jewelry.
“Thank you for helping us get the earring back to its owner,” Hopkins wrote. “Only trying to be honest and kind here, life is good.”
