'Cannibal' frat boy's father says teen's organs are malfunctioning after he 'guzzled chemicals in garage of couple he stabbed to death'

The father of a frat boy accused of randomly killing a couple and biting the dead husband's face says his son's organs are malfunctioning.

Dr. Wade Harrouff told The Palm Beach Post that his 19-year-old son, Austin Harrouff, has a malfunctioning liver, fluid in his lungs and a bleeding esophagus.

The South Florida dentist said the hospital is doing an MRI scan today, and that his son remains in critical but stable condition.

Harrouff Sr added that he believes mental illness, not drugs, are to blame for his son's alleged actions on the evening of August 15.

He spoke out as new 911 dispatch recordings emerged from the night of the attack, as first responders try to come to terms with the brutal scene they encountered.

During the recordings, officers can be heard telling dispatchers that one man was 'wrapped around' another, before adding 'he's biting him.'

Later, cops referenced Harrouff's strength, saying he is 'abnormally strong' and 'won't let go' of the victim.
